Quicksilver is free to play IOS game which you can compete with your friends while enjoying 100 challenges.

If you don't have much time but have enough time for a short game, Quicksilver is what you need. You may choose to compete with your friends in two game modes. Beat your friends' best scores in which game mode you prefer then share your score in Facebook and let the world know who is the best. If you prefer to make a collection of valuable trophies, challenge mode is waiting for you with a hundred challenges. Don't forget “Quicksilver is the quickest way to have more fun!.

• How can I play Quicksilver?
  You can play Quicksilver on any IOS devices. IOS version 7.0 or above needs to be installed.


• How can I install Quicksilver?
  You need to search for keyword “Quicksilver” in iTunes AppStore. Result named “Quicksilver Ball Game” will be the application you are looking for. Quicksilver is an universal app, which means only one install file can be used for iPhone, iPad and iPod.


• How can I uninstall Quicksilver?
  Uninstalling an application from IOS is the same for all applications. You may uninstall Quicksilver directly from device by pressing and holding down your finger on application icon. When “x” icon appears on top left, you can start uninstall process by pressing x icon. You can also uninstall Quicksilver from desktop of you computer with the help of iTunes. You can later download and install Quicksilver for free any time you wish.


• Is Quicksilver free?
  Quicksilver is completely free to play. You will not need to pay for playing, in game items or upgrades.


• Do I have to have a Facebook account to play?
  Quicksilver does not require a Facebook account. However you need to log in with your Facebook account to be able to share your best scores, share trophy achievements and invite friends.


• Do I have to have internet connection to play?
  Quicksilver does not require internet connection. However to be able to share your best score, share trophy achievements or invite friends, Quicksilver needs to be connected.


• Can I play Quicksilver from multiple devices?
  You can play Quicksilver from multiple devices. However your game progress will not be shared between devices.


• What is the main goal of the game?
  Main goal of the game is reaching the best score. This mean both beating your best score or your friends' best scores. Then you can share your best score and prove that you are the best and unbeatable.


• What is the main goal in a stage?
  Every game mode contains many stages. In every stage you have to throw your ball to collect as many balls as you can. If you collect all balls in a stage, you gain extra bonuses and remaining time will be added to next stage. So, your highest priority target must be collecting all balls very fast.


• What do “Short Run” and “Long Run” game modes mean?
  You play these game modes to get the best score you can. So you always play 12 stages in “Short Run” game mode and 20 stages in “Long Run”. You try to beat your own best score or your friends' best scores in these game modes.


• What does “Challenge” game mode mean?
  You try to pass predefined challenges in every stage. For example you may need to pass a certain score in a stage, however you may need to collect some amount of regular and bonus balls in another stage regardless of your score.


• How can I skip the tutorial stage?
  The tutorial stage teaches how Quicksilver is played. However, if you do not want to play the tutorial stage, you can skip it easily by pressing “Skip” button which is located at top left of the screen.


• Why do I always have to play the tutorial when I start a new game?
  The tutorial stage teaches how Quicksilver is played. So if you think you do not need the tutorial anymore, you can switch that feature off from game options.


• Can I disable the tutorial feature? If so, how?
  The tutorial feature can be disabled from game options. You can present all game options by pressing gear icon which is located at top left corner of main menu screen. You need to switch off “Show tutorials when starting new game” game option to disable tutorial feature.


• Why do I see ball information windows in some stages?
  Those are ball instructions presented to inform players when new ball types introduced. Every special ball has a unique characteristic. To be able to use them effectively, player has to chose wisely when to pick them and benefit more. In other words, knowing all special ball types is a key to get better scores.


• Can I disable ball instructions? If so, how?
  Ball instructions feature can be disabled from game options. You can present all game options by pressing gear icon which is located at top left corner of main menu screen. You need to switch off “Show ball instructions when new special ball type appears” game option to disable ball instructions feature.


• How can I throw the ball?
  You can throw the ball by placing your finger on the screen to place your ball, slide it about 5cm(2 inches) to power up and release your finger to throw the ball. Before releasing your finger, you can change throw direction by moving your finger on the screen without lifting your finger. You can also control the throw speed. The longer slide distance makes you see bigger arrows moving toward your finger which means ball speed will be higher. The shorter slide distance mean you will throw your ball slower.


• How can I change ball direction after I throw the ball?
  Changing ball direction is possible only by changing device angle relative to the ground. For example while your ball is moving to top side of the screen and your device is completely parallel to the ground surface, you need to change your device angle to left or right to change ball moving direction. You will notice that direction changes does happen slowly, not suddenly. So you need to change device angle earlier every time you need to change your ball direction.


• How can I change ball speed after I throw the ball?
  It is not possible to change ball speed. When you pick other balls, your ball lose its speed because it gets bigger and its momentum needs to be constant. So it is not possible to make your ball go faster when it is so big or go slower when it is so small by changing device angle. Instead of shaking your device, try to plan a better strategy!


• Do I have to use accelerometer to change ball direction?
  If you prefer not to change ball direction after you throw the ball, you may disable this feature from game settings.


• How do I disable accelerometer input of my device?
  Accelerometer feature, which lets you change ball direction after throwing your ball, can be disabled from game options. You can present all game options by pressing gear icon which is located at top left corner of main menu screen. You need to switch off “Use accelerometer input to change player ball directions” game option to disable this feature.


• Why does sky image in background moves?
  Sky image in the background moves just to inform player when angle of device changes just like holding a mirror which has a reflection of sky on it.


• Is it possible to disable dynamic background? If so, how?
  Actually dynamic background feature disables automatically when you disable accelerometer. However you can also disable dynamic background separately without disabling accelerometer feature. You need to switch off “Use dynamic background movements” game option to disable this feature.


• Is it possible to disable main menu song? If so, how?
  Main menu song can be disabled from game options. You can present all game options by pressing gear icon which is located at top left corner of main menu screen. You need to switch off “Play background music” game option to disable main menu song. When you switch on the option, song will start playing immediately.


• Is it possible to disable in game sounds? If so, how?
  Game sound effects which play during the game play experience can be disabled from game options. You can present all game options by pressing gear icon which is located at top left corner of main menu screen. You need to switch off “Play in game sound effects” game option to disable game sound effects.


• How can I log in to Facebook?
  You can log in to Facebook just by pressing Facebook icon which is located at top right corner of main menu screen. If you have Facebook application installed and already logged in, you do not need to enter your mail and password information. If you are not already logged in with your Facebook account, then you will be asked for your mail and password by Facebook application. Quicksilver does not ask for your account information and does not store any of your Facebook data. So, you can use Facebook safely in Quicksilver.


• Which Facebook permission do I need to provide for Quicksilver?
  You will be asked for “Public Profile” permission which is limited with information everyone can see in Facebook. If you prefer to share your best score or trophies, you will also be asked for “Post Actions” permissions. Quicksilver does not need user email or user friends permissions.


• What kind of user information Quicksilver stores?
  Quicksilver does not store any of your personal information and does not share any information with other applications or organizations. Quicksilver does not have access to your Facebook account, private personal info or information about your friends. All game progress is stored in your device and none of your data is sent anywhere in internet. See also Quicksilver privacy policy section.


• What are the differences between balls?
  Quicksilver has three main ball types: regular balls (smallest balls), bonus balls (pink balls with 2x icons on them) and special balls (each ball has different color and icon).


• When I collect balls, why do I see point labels has different score values even if I collect same type of balls?
  When you collect two balls, usually you gain better score from second. Game calculates time difference between two balls and gives more points for shorter time periods. In other words, you can gain more points in combos.


• Does special balls cancel each other?
  Some balls cancel each other and some balls don't. For example when you collect “Magnetic ball” and “Repulsive ball” together, they cancel each other and special power of last picked ball stays. In this case if you pick “Magnetic ball” first, your ball becomes repulsive. If you pick “Speed Multiplier ball” ball and “Speed Divider ball” together, they cancel each other and your speed stays the same. If you pick “Size Enlarging ball” and “Speed Multiplier ball” together, you benefit from both special powers.


• Why do sometimes my score drops to negative numbers?
  All balls has positive score value but one which is “Punisher ball” (Black ball with red exclamation point icon). So you have to escape from this special ball while you try to collect others.


• Why do sometimes special balls does not seems to have any effect?
  All special balls give special powers to your ball every time you collect them. However, to be able to benefit the most, you have to collect them carefully. For example, “Size Enlarging ball” doubles the size of your ball, however if you collect it when your ball size is small, doubled size will be small too. So the right time to collect this ball is when your ball is bigger. On the other hand, “Speed Multiplier ball” doubles speed of your ball. But if your ball is so big and slow, speed difference could be hardly noticeable. So the right time to collect this ball is when your ball is smaller and faster.


• Game screen seems to slide sometimes, why this happens?
  If you are using iPhone 4 or 4S, you can slide the screen to see additional buttons and text fields. You can slide the screen when you want, but you may not be able to slide the screen at the point when you should throw you ball. Sliding screen is useful to see target score, stage number, game type, restart the game or quit the game.


• When I restart a stage, do I lose any unsaved progress?
  In “Short Run” and “Long Run” game modes you will lose your score and the game starts from the first stage in same game mode. In “Challenge” game mode, only challenge stage you are playing restarts. So only progress you lose is progress on that challenge. But still you need to be careful, if you restart challenge stage even though you collected enough balls to pass the stage, you will not be able to undo that process.


• My friends seems to have quite high best scores, how do I get such scores? Is there a cheat?
  Quicksilver is a very strategy based realtime puzzle game. So with right strategies and some hand-eye coordination skills, everyone can get good best scores. Best strategy to improve game skills is first playing “Challenge” game mode and pass all challenges. It is better to collect as much trophies as you can. Then you can use experience and skills that you gain in other game modes.


• Is there an ultimate best score?
  Even though it is possible to calculate a possible ultimate best score mathematically, it is not ideal to predict such a score. On the other hand, ultimate best score can change with some bug fixes or updates. So, predicting an ultimate best score is meaningless.


• I stuck at a challenge, is there an alternative way or a cheat to pass that challenge?
  All challenges are calibrated well to increase difficulty as game progresses. So, you will need more skills to pass challenge stages as you progress. Try to use different strategies. Try to create original strategies according to stage conditions or targets. You can also try to enable or disable accelerometer which can help more than you think in some stages.


• Sometimes I see some commercials when I return to main menu. Why?
  If your device is connected to internet, probably you will see some commercials in some section of the game including main page. To disable those commercials, you may turn off your internet connection. However, you will not be able to share your best scores, trophy achievements or invite your friends.


• I want to play the game again, is there a way to reset game progress?
  Unfortunately there is no any game options to reset game progress. May be this can be added in next versions.


• I want to support Quicksilver, can I make a donation?
  We do not accept donations right now. You can make biggest support by playing the game and inviting more friends. If you prefer you may contact us from mehodesign@hotmail.com, so we can redirect your donations to well known foundations.


• How can I report a game bug or a suggestion?
  Your bug reports and suggestions to make Quicksilver better is welcome and appreciated. Just send a well explained mail to mehodesign@hotmail.com.

3. Terms of Service

1. About These Terms

• These terms create a legal agreement between you and Quicksilver game developer Mehodesign.com (“we”, “us” or “our”) in relation to the game available via the App Store. You agree that by playing Quicksilver, you are agreeing to these terms and Quicksilver Privacy Policy.
• You agree that if your are under 18 years old, your legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these terms.
• We can make changes to these terms at any time in accordance and your continued use of Quicksilver shall confirm your acceptance of the updated terms.

2. About Accessing and Playing Quicksilver

• Game rules, scoring rules, game controls, game targets and guidelines can be found within Quicksilver. You agree that you shall comply with them when you chose to play Quicksilver.
• You are responsible for the internet connection and/or mobile charges that may incur for playing Quicksilver.
• We have the right to withdraw or modify Quicksilver from time to time for technical reasons, to allow improve user experience and where we have legal reasons.

3. Accounts

• You agree that you shall take all steps necessary to protect your log in details and keep them secret. You agree that you shall not give your log in details to anyone else or allow anyone else to use your log in details or account. In these terms, references to “log in details” or “account” include your log in details and account for any social network or platform that you may allow Quicksilver to interact with.
• If you fail to keep your login details secret, or if you share your login details or account with someone else (whether intentionally or unintentionally), you accept full responsibility for the consequences of this.
• We will not be responsible to you for any loss that you suffer as a result of an unauthorized person accessing your account and playing Quicksilver and we accept no responsibility for any losses or harm resulting from its unauthorized use, whether fraudulently or otherwise.

4. User Conduct and Content

• You must comply with the laws that apply to you in the location that you access Quicksilver from. If any laws applicable to you restrict or prohibit you from playing Quicksilver, you must comply with those legal restrictions or, if applicable, stop accessing and/or playing Quicksilver.
• You agree that you will not use Quicksilver to harm anyone, use Quicksilver for fraudulent of abusive purposes, user Quicksilver for any commercial or business purpose or for the benefit of any third party, attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, sell, transfer, use Quicksilver in violation of any applicable law or regulation, use Quicksilver to cheat or design or assist in cheating or use Quicksilver in any other way not permitted by these terms.
• You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users of Quicksilver.

5. Your Breach of These Terms

• You agree to compensate us, according to law, for all losses, harm, claims and expenses that may arise from any breach of these terms by you.

6. Disclaimer and Release

• We are not responsible for losses or harm not caused by our breach of terms or negligence, losses or harm which are not reasonably foreseeable by you and us at the time of you agreeing to these terms and conditions including those losses which happen as a side effect of foreseeable losses, any increase in loss or damage resulting from breach by you of any of these terms and conditions, technical failures or the lack of availability of our website and/or social media channels where these are not within our reasonable control.
• We will provide Quicksilver with the same skill and care as other similar games providers, but you acknowledge that your only right with respect to any problems or dissatisfaction with Quicksilver is to discontinue your use of Quicksilver and we are not responsible or liable for any interruptions or errors that you may experience while playing Quicksilver.
• Any additional legal rights which you may have as a consumer remain unaffected by these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

• You acknowledge that all copyright, trade marks, and other intellectual property rights in and relating to Quicksilver is owned by or licensed to us.
• You must not copy, distribute, make available to the public or create any derivative work from Quicksilver or any part of Quicksilver unless we have first agreed to this in writing.

8. Privacy

• We do not store or share any personal or private data of any user or friends of users. We only store data related to user preferences and game progress in a related device storage, which is not also shared with other people, companies or applications.

9. Transferring These Terms

• We may wish to transfer all or a part of our rights or responsibilities under these terms to someone else without obtaining your consent. You agree that we may do so provided that the transfer does not significantly disadvantage you. You may not transfer any of the rights we give you under these terms unless we first agree to this in writing.

10. Changes to These Terms

• You can find these terms at any time by visiting this webpage.
• We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time by posting the updated version at this address. We may do so because we change the nature of our products or services, for technical or legal reasons, or because the needs of our business have changed. You agree that if you do not accept any amendment to our terms then you shall immediately stop accessing and/or playing Quicksilver.

11. Severability

• If any part of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable under any applicable local laws or by an applicable court, that part shall be interpreted in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect as nearly as possible our original intentions and the remainder of these terms shall remain valid and enforceable.

12. Waivers of Our Rights

• Quicksilver does not collect any personal information of user (such as name, contact informations or visual content) or friends of user.
• Quicksilver does not store any private information about user or friends of user. Quicksilver only stores data related to user preferences and game progress in available device storage. Quicksilver does not send stored data to internet.
• Quicksilver does not share any personal or private information with other people, companies or applications.
• Friend invitations are carried out completely by other social network applications. So, Quicksilver does not have any access to friend information of a user.
• Quicksilver contains iAd Commercials which means Apple can collect user information through commercials when user interaction happens. Quicksilver does not take responsibilities with cases related to those commercials. It is advised to see Apple Privacy Policy statement.
• Quicksilver does not contain any paid services, so user does not need to provide any payment info.
